brand identity, social media assets, web design

West & Willow began as an a exploration of what wedding photography can feel like when it’s allowed to breathe. Rather than building a brand around trends or overt luxury, the focus was on letting emotion, composition, and storytelling lead the way.

The branding process started with mood and feeling. I spent time defining the emotional tone of the brand before touching visuals: calm, romantic, and observant. From there, the visual identity took shape through a bold red, warm white, and muted tones that wouldn’t compete with the photography but instead support it. For the web design, the goal was to create space. Editorial layouts and white space were used to guide the eye gently, allowing images to unfold naturally rather than overwhelming the viewer. Each page was designed to mirror the photography itself, quiet, cinematic, and honest. Balancing candid moments with structured compositions.

Throughout the process, every detail was taken into consideration. The brand and website work together to reflect the way West & Willow approaches weddings: observing closely, capturing what’s felt, and telling stories through subtle gestures and atmosphere. The result is a cohesive identity that feels warm. One that allows the photography to speak softly, yet leave a lasting impact.
